Pacific Offers MIL-STD-704F Compliance Test Option

Pacific Power Sources has updated its software suite of avionics compliance test options to include MIL-STD-704, Revision F, which addresses the test requirements of both fixed and variable-frequency AC buses. Available as an integrated package running within the company’s UPC Studio control program, the MIL-STD-704 option provides the latest Revision F test sequences for all AC power groups.

Power groups include single-phase and three-phase fixed 400-Hz; single-phase and three-phase variable 360-Hz to 800-Hz; and single-phase 60-Hz test sequences. Detailed reports in RTF (Rich Text Format) are generated automatically at the end of each test run. Test-report templates can be customized with the end-user’s logo and company name.

UPC Studio software works with all of Pacific’s AC power sources with programmable controllers, including the linear AMX series (500 VA to 30 kVA), the switching ASX series (1.5 kVA to 12 kVA), and the MSA series (62 kVA and higher). In addition to MIL-STD-704F, test-sequence options are available for Airbus ABD0100.1.8 (A380), Airbus ABD0100.1.8.1 (A350), and RTCA/DO-160, Section 16.
