Packet Over SONET/SDH Protocol Analyzer Available from RADCOM

The WireSpeed 622 Packet over SONET/SDH analyzer is a protocol analyzer which operates at full OC-12/STM-4 media rates, assists in the development, installation, management and maintenance of networks and networking devices incorporating Packet over SONET technology.

Packet over SONET (POS) technology incorporates packet-based protocols such as IP over SONET and SDH links. POS encapsulates packets with HDLC framing over high-speed SONET and SDH connections.

The analyzer offers: Line-rate capture and decoding of over 300 protocols, including TCP/IP, IPX, Frame Relay, PPP, HDLC, Voice over IP and H.323. The line-rate capture and decoding enables effective troubleshooting of link configuration parameters as well as measurement of application response times.
