United Electronic Industries, Inc.r Linux drivers are available for no-charge downloads off the United Electronic Industries web site. The software, which supports the firm's line of PCI-based PowerDAQ II data acquisition and control cards, also ships with all hardware as part of the PowerDAQ Software Suite CD.
The drivers are designed to work with Version 2.2.X releases of the Linux kernel. Users who wish to run this driver under Linux Kernel versions other than 2.2.X can recompile it; UEI supplies the driver's C source code.
The United Electronic Industries, Inc.r Linux driver consists of three parts: a user-level library, the Linux driver itself, and the PowerDAQ interface kernel library.
This release supports as many as four PowerDAQ cards in one backplane including the PD2-MFS series of high-speed simultaneous sampling cards.
