QAM Signal Tester For Digital CATV Transmission
Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm is offering its high performance QAM signal tester designed for testing in digital CATV transmission systems and for measuring indexes for analog TV including level and V/A. It operates over the frequency range of 50MHz to 870MHz at an accuracy of ±10ppm. The QAM signal tester utilizes Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies to enhance its practicality and reliability in testing parameters of digital TV transmission links including channel power, C/N, and MER.
The multi-functional QAM signal tester, model 771A, offers a 256QAM DVB mode and conducts QAM analysis at a symbol rate of 5.361Mps. In analog level testing, it supports CW, AM and FM signal types while in digital power testing it tests signal types including QPSK, QAM, COMDF and random waveform. This optimized device can be connected to a computer via a serial port enabling easy storage, analysis and printing of test data. A mono LCD screen is offered for clear view of results even under direct light.
