Remote Monitoring Systems Omnex HopLink Simplex Radio Modems

The Omnex HopLink Simplex radio/modems (TEX-900/REX-900 pair) are "cordless wires", reliably replacing cable and conduit for one-way monitoring or control. With multiple digital and analog points avaialble on their terminal blocks, the HopLink Simplex units perform like wireless bundles giving integrators and panel builders greater flexibility in system design.

Remote devices, such as switches, alarms and sensors are wired directly to the terminal block of the TEX-900 HopLink transmitter. The input signals to the TEX-900 are then transmitted to the RX-900 via a Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping technique that updates 50 times every second and guarantees signal integrity with CRC-16 error checking. At the receiving end of the cordles wire REX-900 HopLink replicates the signals on its terminal block and outputs them to relays, PLCs, meters, etc. The simple, reliable wireless link eliminates the expense and maintenance of cable and conduit.
