BITlink interface components for remote testing makes it easy to build a remote digital analog I/O, or Fieldbus system for control, or testing at a distance because communication as well as power is transmitted using only a two-wire connection. It is used for applications from industrial control and agricultural installations, to modem-controlled remote data gathering. Up to 256 BITlink components may be separately addressed on the 2-wire bus. The bus system can be 2,000 m long.

BITlink modules are available for digital input and output, counters remote 16-bit ADCs DAC with 12-bit resolution, relay drivers, and thermocouple temperature sensing applications. DLL and DDE functions are provided for importing data into spreadsheet programs. DLLs allow export calculations from spreadsheets to control industrial operations.
