Sierra Research & Technology (SRT) has introduced the Pinnacle 500R Rework System, a entry-level semi-automated placement and rework station. Able to handle boards up to 14in. x 20in. and 2in. high components, the Pinnacle 500R is designed specifically for reworking mBGAs, BGAs, and QFPs. This full-featured, compact-size system aligns, places, and reflows surface mount components used in today's production and depot environments. The station offers many features usually associated only with much more expensive equipment including independent heating nozzle and vacuum pick-up tube, comprehensive thermal cycle libraries and look up/down split image component placement.
