Schlumberger ATE Telecommunications Systems Group Provides Technology-Leading Solutions for Network Infrastructure Test

Schlumberger Automated Test Equipment (ATE) announced the Telecommunications Systems group will develop and deliver technology-leading test solutions to the network infrastructure market.

The Schlumberger ATE Telecommunications Systems group provides solutions that are compatible with GR303 or V5 interfaces for deployment as a final quality gate providing rack-level test capability to test a completed system as a whole unit or as a sub-module.

The S765ST is targeted for complete system-level testing of entire telecommunication line racks that are used in Central Offices, Universal Digital Loop Carriers and Access Systems. The unique benefit lies in its ability to emulate and diagnose both the GR303 and V5 interfaces. It provides a single integrated, cost-effective test and verification standard testbed for the many stages of the product life cycle; from development, regression test, up to final systems manufacturing test.

The S765IT emulates the real-world working environment and provides a comprehensive diagnostic environment that supports the integration of equipment for both service operators and communication equipment manufacturers. The GR303 and V5 compliant monitoring and emulation system generates and monitors traffic, decodes messages and diagnoses problems from either side of the network and allows telecom engineers to locate interface faults and quickly make repairs in both the integration labs and in the field before system integration.
