SDH/SONET Test Set

N/A test set is optimized for testing dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) client systems, and can emulate the characteristics of an SDH or SONET network element. DWDM equipment manufacturers can use the test set in design, system evaluation/test and production test, as well as for signal integrity verification of a DWDM system's SDH/SONET client. In network operations, it can be used in active or passive monitoring applications to validate DWDM and OC-48 performance. The flexible unit also supports network element commissioning and cross-boundary (IXC/LEC) network validation tests. The system is available configured as a transceiver, receiver or transmitter.
