SemiTest names Philip Villari vice president of operations and service

SemiTest, Inc., a global supplier of non-invasive and non-destructive monitoring tools for the semiconductor industry, has appointed Phillip J. Villari as the company's new Vice President of Operations and Service. Mr. Villari will oversee and direct SemiTest's manufacturing, materials planning, quality, logistics and customer service operations worldwide and will report to Charlie Kohn, President and CEO. Donna Tinsley, who was previously Vice President of Operations and Finance, will continue at SemiTest as Vice President of Finance and Administration.

"Phil Villari has the experience, perspective, and leadership qualities that will propel us to meet our aggressive growth plans," said Kohn. "SemiTest has experienced significant growth in its Epimet product line during the past year. Our plan now is to build upon our experience of manufacturing products for a cleanroom environment and servicing sophisticated equipment internationally so that we can meet the needs of our customers in the future."

Mr. Villari has significant experience in operations, service, and management, including twelve years in the semiconductor capital equipment industry. Prior to joining SemiTest, he was Vice President of Operations and Plant Manager for Aseco Corporation, a supplier of test handlers and wafer inspection equipment to the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Aseco, Mr. Villari was the Director and General Manager of Electro Scientific Industries' (ESI) Semiconductor Capital Equipment business unit.
