Silicon Configuration Services Purchases PROMIS Software

Promis Systems Corporation Ltd. announced that Custom Silicon Configuration Services (CS2) of Belgium has selected PROMIS software for its new semiconductor assembly and test foundry.

CS2 purchased the PROMIS Standard System, and a number of PROMIS add-on modules including Corporate-Wide Planning Advanced Statistical Process Control, DataLink and Transaction Processor.

PROMIS software is a configurable Manufacturing Execution System (MES) designed to assist in the definition, management, monitoring, automation, and control of semiconductor and precision electronics manufacturing. Promis Encore! uses client/server, object-oriented, and framework technology to deliver a Windows NT-based MES solution for the semiconductor and precision electronics industries.
