Silicon Pressure Transducer

The new PS-3300 Series Transducer features a modular design by which the transducer uses the same pressure sensor and electronics modules, allows custom versions to be supplied to OEMs with short lead times.
Providing both error correction and signal amplification , the electronic module's ASIC uses digital compensation while maintaining an analog signal path while featuring a typical bandwidth of 1 kHz. The electronics module is based on a proprietary custom application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), which is a mixed signal CMOS sensor interface that uses differential switched capacitor architecture.
The architecture is designed to compensate for the five types of error associated with piezoresistive silicon sensors : Initial Offset, Span, Pressure Linearity, TC Offset, and TC Span.
