Spectroradiometer

Source: Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.
CS-1000a Spectroradiometers measure spectral power distribution, luminance, color, and correlated color temperature of display devices including, CRTs, flat panel displays, LEDs and light sources, while offering excellent absolute accuracy and short-term repeatability. The CS-1000 can be used as a master instrument in the R&D centers of display devices manufacturers, as well as lighting and lamp companies, to measure the spectral radiance of a light source. Three models are now available including a model with a small measuring angle(0.14°) and another model with a small measuring area (0.45mm).

CS-1000 series Spectroradiometers measure spectral power distribution, luminance, color, and correlated color temperature of display devices including, CRTs, flat panel displays, LEDs and light sources, while offering excellent absolute accuracy and short-term repeatability. The CS-1000 series can be used as a master instrument in the R&D centers of display devices manufacturers, as well as lighting and lamp companies, to measure the spectral radiance of a light source. Three models are now available including a model with a small measuring angle CS-1000T (0.14°) and the CS-1000S (.45mm) model.

Features

  • Three models available, including small aperture (.14°) and small angle (.45mm)
  • Absolute accuracy, high speed, excellent short-term repeatability.
  • Use of polychromator enables high-speed measurements.
  • Measurements can be synchronized with a display device.
  • Low polarization error - ideal for measuring LCD's
  • Sensor cooling improves S/N ratio, enabling measurement of low luminance subjects.
  • Aperture mirror eliminates misalignment between the finder target and actual measuring spot.
Stand-Alone or with a Personal Computer
  • Fully portable, so it can be carried to the measurement subject.
  • Windows® -compatible data processing software allows for easy calculation, statistical analysis, data storage and print-out.
Applications
  • Ideal for Research & Development: Monitor, LCD, Lighting and Lamp Manufacturers.
  • Measures spectral power distribution, luminance, chromaticity, and correlated color temperature for display devices such as CRT and LCD, and lighting devices such as lamps.
  • Reference instrument used to transfer radiance and chromaticity measurements to secondary instruments.
