Spirent Announces L1/L2 GLONASS Simulation System


Spirent has supported the GLONASS L1 signal in its simulation systems for many years. With this launch, GLONASS L1/L2 capability will be available both in a stand-alone system and also in combination with GPS and/or Galileo signals.
Simulation of GLONASS and other GNSS signals is acknowledged as the best way of testing receivers, systems and application performance. Only laboratory simulation can ensure controlled repeatable testing that explores both nominal and off-design conditions. By following a structured test approach, our customers can test GLONASS L1 and L2 receivers, together with GPS and Galileo, resulting in products or systems that are quicker to develop, more resilient and have higher performance.
