SUSS MicroTec AG Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Munich, Germany -- SUSS MicroTec has appointed Michael Knopp as the Group's new Chief Financial Officer. He will join SUSS on August 1st 2007 and succeeds Stephan Schulak who left the company at the end of March.

Michael is a business leader with proven financial expertise and is currently the Managing Director of Kemmax GmbH, an industrial chemicals company based in Essen, Germany. Kemmax is part of the publicly listed Canadian company Chemtrade Logistics Group which reports annual sales of around 370 million Euros. Previously Michael worked at REALTECH AG in Walldorf, Germany (1999-2005), first as Managing Director and then as of September 2001 as Chief Financial Officer.
