Teradyne IG-XL Software Offers Real-Time Histogram And Scripting Tools With SEDana
Real-time histogram capability provides early visibility into test data produced during wafer and final test operations. Users can examine real-time test data directly on the test systems to display up-to-the-second results on a per tester basis. With real-time histograms and trend plots, users get an advanced look into test results, complementing existing off-line data analysis steps done in batch mode. Real-time histograms give visibility into early yield and test failures during device bring up and ramp to volume production, saving time and production capability. The new user scripting capability, available in both the SEDana analysis tool and the real-time monitoring feature, allows users to customize their displays to provide statistics beyond the standard defaults and produce summaries of statistical results in real time.

Teradyne IG-XL software includes SEDana Lite, a basic version of the SEDana Statistical Data Analysis tool, with each system. Users can upgrade to the full version of SEDana (V3.1c) for full access to SEDana capabilities, including real-time histograms, scripting, advanced statistical analysis, gage repeatability and reproducibility (to quantify error in measurement systems), and full report generation. Users can purchase a full SEDana software license from Teradyne and then download the software package directly from Teradyne's eKnowledge web portal, for installation onto a local computer.
