Testing
EMI/EMC
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is the undesirable electrical energy which your product emits to the environment. The ability of your product to withstand its own emissions and EMI from other devices is a measure of its Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). We are a full service design and test laboratory who can comply to various MIL and Commercial EMI/EMC specifications.
TEMPEST
TEMPEST is the unclassified name of the study and control of classified data emissions from a device. Such emissions are obviously a threat to security. The escape avenues of TEMPEST radiations from your system are similar to those for EMI emissions, but the methods of exposing these signals and the incorporation of design measures to subdue them are quite unique. We are an NSA Endorsed TEMPEST test and manufacturing facility.
CE Marking
As of 1 January 1996, all equipment being shipped into the European Community of Nations requires that a CE Mark be affixed to the product and/or its paperwork. The CE Mark indicates that the product complies with the basic EMI/EMC requirements and that the manufacturer or a third party has carried out the relevant assesment. This CE Mark is obtained after the product has been tested to the European Community Standards for EMI/EMC. We are a Certified test house, able to perform the applicable European testing for CE Mark qualification.
