TREK Model 541 Series Electrostatic Voltmeters Designed to Monitor Electrostatic Charge Buildup That Can

The TREK Model 541 Series Electrostatic Voltmeters are microprocessor based instruments which are ideal to monitor surface voltages in critical operations associated with semiconductor, LCD, electronic assembly, and other processes where static charge accumulation poses a threat to production yields or product quality. The 541 se-ries voltmeters utilize a miniature probe which can be remotely located and easily posi-tioned within process equipment to provide highly accurate, noncontacting, DC stable, spacing independent voltage measurements in either ionized or nonionized environ-ments.

The TREK Model 541 Series instruments feature a twenty by four (20 x 4) alpha-numeric LCD screen that displays the present measured voltage, the positive peak volt-age value, the negative peak voltage value, and additional menu information. Two spe-cific voltage detection ranges are available. The TREK Model 541-1 has a measurement range of 0 to ±1 kV. The TREK Model 541-2 has a measurement range of 0 to ±100 V. Both instruments feature exceptional 1% accuracy and 0.1% resolution.

The TREK Model 541 series includes independently programmable plus (+) and minus (-) voltage threshold/alarm limits to provide audible, visual, T2L output, and a re-lay contact actuation upon detection of the programmed voltage limit value.

A voltage output monitor and the optional 4-20 mA current loop output can pro-vide additional signal interfacing to facility monitoring equipment. Another option, an RS-232 serial port, can provide computer based control and monitoring.
