Triaxial Accelerometer

The Model 7269 miniature piezeoresistive triaxial accelerometer is 10 x 6 x 3 mm (0.4 x 0.2 x 0.1 in), and weighs 0.4 g (0.01 oz)
N/A269 miniature piezeoresistive triaxial accelerometer is 10 x 6 x 3 mm (0.4 x 0.2 x 0.1 in), and weighs 0.4 g (0.01 oz). This accelerometer has a high sensitivity of 0.8 mV/g, and is rated for 500 g. It uses an advanced micromachined silicon sensor that has integral mechanical stops to allow the accelerometer to withstand shocks up to 5000 g. Designed to be cast into an earplug and used for monitoring head acceleration of human subjects. Applications include biomechanical studies of racecar drivers and aircraft pilots, helmet testing, cadaver testing, and other applications requiring a very small and light package. A 2000-g version that can withstand shocks up to 10,000 g is also available.
