United Dominion Buys Vibration Test Systems Manufacturer

United Dominion Industries Ltd. announced the acquisition of Ling Dynamic Systems Limited (Royston, UK; LDS). LDS produces electro-dynamic shakers used primarily in the electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the company said the acquisition would be immediately accretive to earnings.

LDS will become part of United Dominion's Test Instrumentation Segment that includes Lunaire, a manufacturer of environmental test chambers and heat process equipment.
