The 58542 Universal Power Meter enables NIST trace-able, lab-grade CW and peak power measurements from a single-slot VXIbus module
Giga-tronics Incorporatedniversal Power Meter enables NIST trace-able, lab-grade CW and peak power measurements from a single-slot VXIbus module. Measurement speeds exceed 150 readings per second, and Burst Mode captures more than 5,000 readings simultaneously. The meter supports the scpi command language. The meter delivers takes advantage of the speed and dynamic range of diode sensors. The power sweep calibrator uses a 50 MHz amplitude controlled oscillator to step from -30 to +20 dBm in 1 dB increments. Each step is set using an internal thermistor. A full range of CW and Peak sensors is available. The sensors cover frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 40 GHz with up to 90-dB dynamic range. In addition, there are 1 to 50 Watt high power sensors. The company's diode-based True RMS sensors can be used to measure quadrature-modulated signals, intermodulation distortion power and 1 dB gain compression. The device provides two-channel operation, readings can be viewed from both channels simultaneously.
