VI Technology Releases Arendar 2007 For Manufacturing Test

May 14, 2007

Austin, TX - VI Technology, Inc. announced the release of Arendar 2007. This version expands upon the current Arendar platform to provide instant access to design, characterization, validation and verification, and manufacturing test information across the enterprise.

New features include a drag-and-drop report designer with one-click Web publishing of interactive reports, a fully user-customizable Web Dashboard, secure data transfers through firewalls, and interactive data mining of swept parametric data. Arendar 2007 also comes with a new application programming interface (API). The API gives developers the ability to add their own custom data importers, analysis, and visualization plug-ins extending the Arendar platform to meet their specific application requirements. The API also simplifies integration with other enterprise applications. Arendar 2007 supports the latest technologies including SQL Server 2005, Windows Vista, and ASP.NET. Users access their test results and reports anywhere, anytime using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox Web browsers.

"Arendar 2007 brings proven enterprise technologies to the test and measurement industry," says Richard House, President of VI Technology. "We've taken business intelligence technologies and applied them to design, characterization, and validation testing. Now, managers and test engineers have immediate access to the right information and at the right time so they can focus on improving their product's performance."

Arendar efficiently centralizes and aggregates test data, automatically generates custom reports, and instantly publishes them to a secure Web site. Managers and engineers access test results securely from any location through a Web browser without concerning themselves about where and how the data is stored or formatted. Arendar helps companies optimize product performance, quality, and time to market.

Arendar 2007 enterprise test software is available for purchase immediately. An entry-level Arendar enterprise test system including deployment services starts at $19,995. For more information, go to www.vi-tech.com/arendar .
